Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Bolcho AI, a product of Neobound ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use the AI Caller mobile app and this website. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Effective: 10 October 2026

In short: we collect what we need to place your calls and run your account. Your customer lists are used only to call your customers on your instructions. We never sell personal data, and you can ask us to delete your account at any time from this page.

1. Who we are

AI Caller (Android package in.bolchoai.aicaller) is operated by Bolcho AI, a product of Neobound, 804, Tower-19, Plot No. 9, Unitech Habitat, Sec Pi-2, Alpha Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India – 201310. You can reach us at info@bolchoai.in.

2. Our role and yours

AI Caller handles two kinds of personal data, and our responsibility differs for each:

  • Your account data — information about you, the business owner using the app. For this data we are the Data Fiduciary: we decide how it is used, as described in this policy.
  • Your customers’ data — the names and phone numbers you add to campaigns, and the calls our agents have with them. For this data, your business is the Data Fiduciary and we act as your Data Processor. We process it only to deliver the calls and reports you ask for. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (such as consent) to call these people.

3. What we collect

a) Information you give us

  • Sign-in details — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, Google account identifier and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
  • Business profile — your business name, category, description and any other details you enter in the profile screen.
  • Campaign content — the offer or message you want the agent to share, the agent voice you choose, and campaign settings such as schedule.
  • Customer lists — names and phone numbers of the customers you choose to call, whether picked from your phone contacts or uploaded as a CSV/Excel file. Only the contacts you select are uploaded — we do not upload your whole address book.
  • Test-call number — the phone number you enter to receive a test call (usually your own).
  • Support messages — questions and messages you send through Help & Support or by email.
  • Consent records — the date, time and version of the calling terms you accept before running campaigns.

b) Information created when you use AI Caller

  • Call records — the number called, time, duration, status (connected, no answer, busy, failed) and credits used.
  • Call recordings, transcripts and summaries — audio of connected calls, a text transcript, an AI-generated summary, and an outcome such as “interested”.
  • Purchase records — when you subscribe, Google Play shares the product, purchase token, order ID and subscription status with us so we can activate your plan. Payments are processed entirely by Google; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and app version, and server logs used for security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.

We do not collect your location, SMS, call history from your phone, photos or files other than those you choose to upload.

4. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To place AI voice calls to the customers you select, with the offer and voice you choose.
  • To produce your campaign reports: call status, summaries, recordings, transcripts and interested leads.
  • To activate, renew and manage your subscription and credits, and to keep accurate billing records.
  • To respond to support requests and send important service messages (for example, about billing or changes to terms).
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud, abuse and violations of our calling terms, including reviewing calls when needed.
  • To maintain and improve the reliability and quality of the service.
  • To comply with law, including telecom regulations, tax laws and lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell personal data, use your customer lists to market our own or anyone else’s products, or call your customers for any purpose other than your campaign. We do not use your customers’ call recordings to train third-party AI models.

5. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run AI Caller, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Bolcho voice AI platform — our own voice-agent infrastructure that runs the calls.
  • Telephony carriers (for example, Plivo) — to connect calls over the phone network.
  • Speech and AI providers — speech-to-text, text-to-speech and language-model services that let the agent understand and respond, and that produce transcripts and summaries.
  • Cloud hosting — secure servers that store and process data (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, in India).
  • Google — for Google Sign-In and Google Play Billing.
  • Email providers — to deliver support replies and service emails.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to comply with a court order or a lawful request from a government authority or telecom regulator, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users, call recipients or the public. If our business is reorganised or transferred, data may move to the successor under the same protections.

6. App permissions

  • Internet — to connect to our servers.
  • Contacts (optional) — only if you choose to pick customers from your phone. The app reads your contacts on your device so you can select people; only the ones you select are uploaded. You can deny this permission and upload a CSV/Excel file instead.
  • Files (when you upload) — the app opens only the file you pick to import your customer list.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account, profile and campaign data — while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
  • Customer lists, recordings, transcripts and summaries — while your account is active, so you can view your reports. You can ask us to delete specific campaigns or all of it at any time. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
  • Billing and tax records — kept for the period required by Indian tax and company law (generally up to 8 years).
  • Security and call logs — kept for at least one year where required by law, then deleted.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to production systems is limited to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis, and our servers are protected by access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but if a personal data breach occurs we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required by law.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • correct, complete or update inaccurate data;
  • erase your data and delete your account (see Delete your account);
  • withdraw consent at any time — this won’t affect processing already done;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
  • have your grievances addressed, and, if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Email info@bolchoai.in from your registered email address to exercise any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. If you received a call from AI Caller

Calls made through AI Caller are placed on behalf of the business named on the call, which is responsible for having your consent to call you. If you don’t want to receive such calls, tell the agent during the call, or contact the business directly. You can also email us at info@bolchoai.in with the number that was called. We will pass your request on to the business and act against any misuse of AI Caller. Report unsolicited commercial calls to your telecom operator or by dialling or texting 1909.

11. Children

AI Caller is a business tool for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Businesses must not use AI Caller to call children. If you believe a child’s data has reached us, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Where data is processed

Our servers are in India. Some speech and AI providers we use may process data outside India for the duration of a call. Any such transfer is made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or the law changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for important changes we’ll notify you in the app or by email.
